About the Event
This year’s WaKwanzaa Ball is scheduled for Sunday, December 31, 2023, in San Bernardino, focusing on culture, community, and family. Traditionally, Kwanzaa is observed over seven days, from December 26th to January 1st. In 2023, our event coincides with the 6th Principle of Kwanzaa, "Kuumba," which means 'Creativity,' "to do always as much as we can to leave our community more beautiful and beneficial than we inherited it.”
